Top 10 Must-Read Colleen Coble Novels of All Time

1. Edge of Dusk

Review Edge of Dusk by Colleen Cobble description even though secrets lie off the coast of Rock Harbor the truth will set Annie Pedersen free if it doesn't kill her first nine-year-old Annie Person's life changed the night her sister was kidnapped

the two had been outside playing on a dock and Annie never forgave herself for her role in her sister's disappearance 24 years later now a law enforcement ranger Annie is still searching for answers as she grieves a new loss the death of her husband and parents in a boating accident

but Annie and her eight-year-old daughter Kylie aren't the only people in the town of Rock Harbor whose lives have been marred by tragedy while managing the property around the Tremolo resort and Mourinho she inherited Annie discovers a dead body floating

in the cold superior surf and begins to work with the sheriff's office to tie the death to a series of other mysterious reports in the area at the same time her first love John Dustan returns after nine years away reigniting the town's memory of a cold case

he'd been suspiciously linked to before he left to pursue his orthopedic residency for the sake of her investigation and her heart Annie tries to stay away but avoiding Jon becomes impossible once Annie realizes she is being targeted by someone desperate to keep secrets from the past

hidden my opinion Edge of Dusk by Colleen Cobble is Christian suspense it's the first book from the Annie Pedersen series this story focuses on two mysteries one is about Annie's younger sister who was abducted when they were kids the other one is about two young women who were murdered nine years ago

the plot captures your attention from the first chapter and holds you captive until the last one it's an intense suspense novel that has a few emotional scenes romance and lots of action the descriptions are on point you can easily visualize the place and the people the characters are interesting

as well each one has its own story and issues Annie was the one that struck me she was brave kind and helpful but she also seemed to be stuck in the past the relationship she had with her daughter was one of my favorite parts of the book

there are three big revelations towards the end and I am happy that I found out about two of them if you like mysteries and suspense novels I highly suggest you read this one I enjoyed reading it.

2. Smitten

Nataly Mansfield stood on the perimeter of the town square, watching her niece and the other children decorate the town for Easter. Mia, her five-year-old niece, had a huge smile on her face as she placed the lavender wreath at the top of the clock with her Sunday school teacher.

Natalie waved back at Mia and told her great-aunt Rose Garner how much she loved her. Her aunt's words made Natalie's heart fill with pride and happiness.

While they were talking, Natalie noticed a group of men standing nearby with dejected stances. She recognized one of them as her coffee shop patron, Murphy Clinton, and asked him what had happened.

Murphy informed her that the mill was closing, which would have devastating effects on the town's economy. Natalie was concerned because her business was already struggling, and if the mill closed, she didn't know how she would provide for Mia.

Natalie discussed the situation with her three best friends, Julia, Shelby, and Reese, and they tried to come up with a solution. Reese suggested capitalizing on the town's name and turning it into a place for honeymooners.

They brainstormed other ideas to attract tourists to the town, such as offering unique experiences and activities. The group was determined to save their beloved town from economic ruin.

3. One Little Lie

"One Little Lie" by Colleen Coble, is a Christian romantic suspense novel. The main character, Jane Hardy, is appointed as an interim sheriff in Pelican Harbor, Alabama, where her father is arrested for theft and implicated in a recent murder.

Jane finds herself dependent on a well-known journalist named Reid, who makes documentaries and has his sites set on covering her career. They begin working together to clear her father's name but Raid has his own secrets from the past, and the gulf between them may be impossible to cross.

The book revolves around Jane's search for her mother, her father's arrest, and her relationship with a journalist named Reid.

it was not really a suspense or Christian story, the characters were not developed enough, and the cult situation that was referenced throughout the book could have been explained more.

4. The House at Saltwater Point

The dangerous beauty of Lavender Tides is harboring secrets that reach around the world. Ellie Blackmore is making a name for herself as a house flipper.

But when her sister Mackenzie disappears, Ellie can't focus on anything but uncovering what happened. Her only clue is the bloodstain on the deck of Mackenzie's boat.

Ellie knows her sister isn't on the best of terms with her ex-husband, Jason, but he wouldn't kill her—would he? Coast Guard intelligence officer Grayson Bradshaw believes Mackenzie faked her own death after stealing a seized cocaine shipment.

The problem is convincing Ellie, who seems to view him as the true enemy. Both Ellie and Grayson want the truth, but the truth—and family—is often more complex than it first appears.

From international terrorism to the peaceful lavender fields of Puget Sound, The House at Saltwater Point is a thrilling race to uncover the truth before it's too late.

5. Lonestar Sanctuary

The story is about Ali, a rodeo participant who lives in a run-down trailer with her daughter Betsy. Ali dreams of winning the barrel racing championship so that they can have a better life.

One night, while taking a shower, Ali hears someone scratching at the bathroom door and a man's voice calling out to her.

The man taunts and threatens her, leaving Ali feeling trapped and afraid for her and Betsy's safety.

She tries to escape through the window but it's too small, and when she tries to open the door, the man threatens her with a knife.

Despite her fear, Ali remains determined to protect her daughter from harm.

6. All is Calm

The story begins with a woman named Lauren and a stallion named Angel. Lauren is worried because her boss, Charles McLeod, wants to put Angel down after someone drugged him, and Lauren believes that Angel would never harm anyone intentionally.

Lauren considers taking Angel and running away to a ranch where she worked as a teenager called Bluebird Ranch. Brendan Wadell, an ex-special ops intelligence officer, arrives at the ranch and notices Lauren, who has just arrived to work as a horse trainer. The story sets up a possible romance between Lauren and Brendan.

The story highlights Lauren's determination to save Angel, even if it means running away with him. It also introduces the possibility of a romance between Lauren and Brendan, who is intrigued by Lauren from the moment he sees her.

The setting of the ranch and the descriptions of the characters and their interactions add depth to the story, and the conflict between Lauren and her boss sets up the story's main tension. Overall, the story introduces interesting characters and a promising plotline.

7. Bluebonnet Bride

The first chapter of Colleen Coble's "Bluebonnet Bride" introduces the main character, Ellie Korpela, who arrives in Austin, Texas, in 1907 to marry Nathan White, a man she has never met.

However, when Nathan arrives, he is much more handsome than she had imagined, with a neat brown beard and green eyes. He also brings along his young niece, Hannah, whose mother had died three years ago.

Nathan explains that he wants Ellie to marry him and become Hannah's mother, providing her with a stable home and love.

Ellie is taken aback but agrees to the marriage, eager to delve into the mystery of why Nathan chose to obtain a mail-order bride from Europe. They go to a cafĂ©, and Nathan orders lunch for them all.

Ellie is starving, having had only a few crackers that morning, but she tries to remain calm and composed in front of Nathan.

He then explains that he wants her to marry him to provide Hannah with a stable home and love, as he is her only living relative. Ellie is moved by Nathan's words and agrees to the marriage.

Emily volunteers with the search and rescue team and sells homemade jewelry to raise money for the puppy. However, her dreams are shattered when an expensive necklace is stolen from a jewelry artist during a festival, and Emily is accused of the crime.

Emily is determined to clear her name and find the real culprit, despite her birth mother being released from prison and her former best friend being mean to her. Emily must work with her friend Olivia to find the true thief and prove her innocence before her puppy is sold.

The book features characters from the Rock Harbor series, including Bree, the head of the search and rescue team, who influences Emily. The story is well-written, with enough depth to keep readers engaged.

Although it is listed as suitable for ages 8 and up, the reviewer recommends it for children aged 10 or older due to its length and complexity. Overall, the book is an enjoyable read, with enough twists and turns to keep readers guessing.

The Blessing Jar: A Story About Being Thankful by Colleen Kavanaugh is a children's book about Punky Grace, who wakes up grumpy one morning and thinks that nothing good is going to happen that day.

The illustrations are colorful and engaging, and the text is easy to read aloud. Overall, The Blessing Jar is a heartwarming and uplifting story that teaches children about the power of gratitude and the beauty of everyday blessings.

10. A Stranger's Game
